Locanda Canal is located inside the historical Sestiere of Castello, just few steps far both from Rialto Bridge and S. Mark's Square. This area can be considered one of the last of Venice showing a real Venitian atmosphere due to the presence of many cityzens.
Locanda Canal is more or less 5 minutes on foot far both from S. Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge, two minutes from the panoramic promenade Riva degli Schiavoni and very close to the Querini Stampalia Gallery. Boat lines linking to all the rest of Venice and the islands of Murano, Burano, Torcello and Lido passes in S. Mark's Basin, 3 minutes far from the Locanda.

Arriving by plane
at Airport Marco Polo
situated in Tessera, 12 Km by car and 10 Km
by boat from Venice.

Arriving by train
at Railway Station Venezia S. Lucia
located near Piazzale Roma.

Arriving by car or bus
at Terminal for cars and buses at
Piazzale Roma and Tronchetto.

Airport - Venice by car or bus

Public transportations: Service of public bus ACTV or ATVO for Piazzale Roma: ACTV - Tickets 0.77 Euro ATVO 2.58 Euro valid for one single journey. It will take roughly 30 minutes. When you arrive at Piazzale Roma you can take boat n° 82 with direction RIALTO and get off at SAN MARCO BOAT STOP.
Then go along the Calle delle Rasse into the Campo San Filippo e Giacomo. Cross the Campo at its wide end and continue along the Calle della Chiesa. Follow the yellow signs to Querini Stampalia. Turn left into the Campo San Giovanni Novo and turn right under the covered passage into the Fondamenta del Remedio: the canal will be on your right, the Locanda Canal straight ahead.

Airport - Venice by motorboat

Public transportations: ALILAGUNA (www.alilaguna.com) is the direct passenger waterbus service between Venice and its airport. Ticket 10.00 Euro, you can buy it directly on board without any supplement. Get off at SAN MARCO STOP. Then see above!

If you arrive by train, your starting point is the S. Lucia railway station. The "vaporetto" stop is just outside it. You can take boat n° 82 with direction RIALTO and get off at SAN MARCO BOAT STOP.
