According to the description made by the Guild of Ss. Apostoli, written in 1713 and resulting from e decision of the Senate on 29th August 1711, in calle dell'Acquavita, close to the Jesuit Quarter, there was a 'bottega d' acquavita' (a place where alcoholic spirits were sold) managed by Elia Giannazzi, who paid rent to Monsignor Marco Gradenigo, Patriarch of Aquileia.
